Opening of the 'Shadowlands' exhibition in Spain. Photographer Robert Knoth was commissioned by Greenpeace International to document communities in the Fukushima area to mark the one year anniversary of the Japanese tsunami and Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant disasters. The exhibition is a collection of haunting photographs depicting the impact of the nuclear disaster and the plight of people displaced by the crisis.
