Deforestation Projection Action
Greenpeace activists project on a building near the UN Climate negotiations in Durban, South Africa, to send a message to Brazil to 'Stop the chainsaws' 'Desliga Essa Motosserra'. Right now the Brazilian Senate is voting on a new Forest Code that would be a disaster for the Amazon and compromise Brazil's international commitments on greenhouse gas emissions. The new Forest Code threatens to turn back the clock on progress already made on climate and forests protection in Brazil. Greenpeace is calling on President Dilma to keep her commitments and veto the new Forest Code.
