Aftermath of Red Sludge Flood in Kolontar
Six months after the tragic Red Sludge Flood at Kolontár and Devecser, the effects on the two towns and the devastation of the surrounding countryside are still clearly visible. Houses have been and are still being destroyed, while heavy machinery are working on removing the red top soil from the fields. This is all that remains of the flooded areas of Kolontár.
