Barbie Mattel actie in Amsterdam
Greenpeace actievoerders verkleed als Barbies en Ken's poseren met roze kettingzagen en delen flyers uit aan het publiek. De actie is gericht tegen Mattel omdat dit bedrijf Barbie-artikelen verpakt in karton gemaakt van pulp van bomen uit het regenwoud van Indonesie. Dit regenwoud is het leefgebied voor bedreigde diersoorten zoals de Sumatraanse tijger en de orang oetang.
