Shoot: Protest Against Turow Mine in Czech Republic

GP1SW529
Greenpeace Czech Republic activists protest in front of the Ministry of the Environment where Czech and Polish delegations secretly negotiate a deal about the continuation of mining in Turów coal mine. The mine is situated directly on the border and has negative impacts mainly on Czech territory - it drains water from the landscape and from the wells. Greenpeace warns that the Czech side has no guarantee Poland would fulfil the agreement about the mining since it refused to comply with European legislation and the decision of the Court of Justice of the EU. Greenpeace also refuses possible withdrawal of the lawsuit Czech republic filed against the mining.
