Documenation of beech trees in the Kellerwald forest near the Edersee in the western part of northern Hesse, Germany, during the autumn season. Old beech trees are ecologically of special value. Deciduous forests, as a CO2 sink, are of importance for the climate and provide home to numerous animal and plant species.
