About 100 Greenpeace Activists from 6 different countries enter the nuclear power plant grounds of Beznau. With a spectacular climbing action they demand the immediate shut down of the 45 year old power plant which is ridden with unacceptable safety deficiencies. Due to the plant's location an accident would have consequences for the whole European continent. The activity is part of a global action across Europe, where 240 Greenpeace activists have taken part in protests to highlight the risks of Europe’s ageing nuclear power stock.
