Greenpeace activists, supported by farmers, have build a dunghill on the ETH-testfield that was prepared for a genetic engineering experiment with GE wheat. Some activists hold signs reading "Stop GM Wheat", others are hanging letters of protest from all over Switzerland on the fence that surrounds the site.
Last weekend initial work was carried out by the ETH on the test field. This was done even though a legal complaint from residents, farmers, Greenpeace and other environmental organizations, is still pending.
