Shoot: 'Pesticides Kill Bees' Action in Hamburg

GP0STO3KT
Greenpeace activists protest during a Greenpeace group action day in fifty German cities at three big hardware store chains (Obi, Praktiker and Toom) against the sale of bee-harming insecticides.
A third of our food crops are pollinated by bees and other insects.
Healthy bee populations are of ecological and economic importance. There is an urgent need for the elimination of bee-harming pesticides from agriculture. Such elimination would be a crucial and effective first step to protect the health of bee populations and to safeguard their pollination value that is vital for the ecosystem and food production in Europe.
