Greenpeace activists read the names of the 'Arctic 30' in front of the Russian embassy in Hamburg, Germany. The activists are supporting the 28 Greenpeace International activists, as well as a freelance photographer and videographer who are currently held in custody following a peaceful protest on September 18, 2013 against risky oil drilling in the Arctic by Gazprom. A Russian court has charged the 'Arctic 30' with piracy and hooliganism, which carry a maximum sentence of 15 and 7 years, respectively. No official confirmation has been given by the Russian authorities that the charge of piracy has been dropped.
