Zusammen mit einem breiten Bündnis aus Umwelt- und zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen ruft Greenpeace zu einem Aktionstag im Rheinischen Revier auf. Aktivist:innen von Greenpeace BUND, Campact, Alle Dörfer bleiben, Klimaallianz, Naturfreunde und Greenpeace bilden eine 4 km lange Menschenkette zwischen Keyeberg und Lützerath vor dem Tagebau Garzweiler. Ihre Forderung: " Klima schützen, Kohle stoppen". Sie fordern auch, dass die anliegenden Dörfer von Zerstörung bewahrt werden.
