'Free the Arctic 30' Protest of Rainbow Warrior Crew in Seattle
The crew of the Rainbow Warrior protests for the release of the Artcic 30. On Sept. 18, 2013, the 28 crew, activists and a freelance photographer and freelance videographer on board the Arctic Sunrise were detained by the Russian security services. Long time Greenpeace Captain Willcox refused to sail the ship following the illegal boarding, and the Russians were forced to tow the ship to Murmansk, Russia, where the Arctic 30 are being held in prison for the past six weeks.
