Greenpeace France activists protest at the commercial port of La Rochelle in France as part of a 'GetUpAnd' Global Day of Action.

Greenpeace joins Climat21, Climate Action Network, Avaaz, 350.org and Friends of the Earth to demand an end to forest destruction and nuclear & fossil fuel energy. The ‘#GetUpAnd’ Global Day of Action calls on people around the world to give political and corporate leaders a ‘serious wake-up call’ so that they tackle the causes of climate change and champion a transition to renewable energy by 2050.
