Action Against Fossil Fuels in Bucharest
Each day the EU imports oil and gas from Russia, is another day of war in Ukraine. Each day brings unimaginable suffering and mass killings. Millions of women, children and men are fleeing their homes. Tens of thousands are already dead. Each day atrocities are financed by hundreds of million Euros to prop up the addiction of the European energy markets on Russian fossil fuels. The Russian oil and gas embargo could stop the war within weeks, says former Putin’s chief economic advisor. Yet, EU leaders are still reluctant to make this decision. What holds them back, when the choice has never been so obvious? It is because Putin's interests saturate the European continent.
