Action halts Oil Drilling Ship in UK Water
Greenpeace campaigner Ben Stewart in an inflatable in front of Chevron's giant oil drilling ship the Stena Carron.
Activists occupied the ship for 100 hours in a survival pod which they attached to the anchor chain. Chevron obtained a court order, they claim they need to move the ship away from the coast in rough seas for safety reasons, yet these ships are designed to hold their position to one metre in the roughest seas while drilling in order to prevent oil spills.

Esperanza Go Beyond Oil Expedition
Greenpeace 'Go Beyond Oil' ship tour, exposes and confronts the oil industry's race to develop deep sea drilling for oil in order to avoid environmental disasters like the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Companies like BP are taking massive risks to drill in ever more dangerous places rather than investing in clean energy to stop climate change.
