Greenpeace East Asia (Taipei office) has published the report “Who is Responsible for Nuclear Disasters?”. The report provides a global study on nuclear liability laws and compensation. According to the report, the compensation by the Taiwan state-owned operator, Taipower Co. (USD $140 million) is the lowest among developed countries.
