NaOH (natrium hydroxide/Sodium hydroxide) is caustic and dangerous to human health. The case is under investigation by the Slovak environmental inspection department. Independent experts have estimated tens of similar warehouses in the Slovak Republic. In most cases they are found on former socialist collective farms which are no longer active.
