Greenpeace young people build a tall tower of packaging boxes in front of a department store in downtown Osnabrück with textiles and other consumer goods that people order on the Internet and thus contribute to packaging waste. The current packaging law is not enough to combat the flood of disposable plastic in particular, and the young people are calling for improvements with a list of signatures. This action by the JAGs is part of "Make Something Week" (Make Smthng), which is organized internationally by Greenpeace volunteers to draw attention to consumption alternatives in the run-up to Christmas and around "Black Friday".

Black Friday Aktion mit Turm aus Verpackungskartons
Greenpeace Jugendliche bauen vor einem Kaufhaus in der Innenstadt von Osnabrück einen hohen Turm aus Verpackungskartons mit Textilien und anderen Konsumgütern, die Menschen im Internet bestellen und so zum Verpackungsmüll beitragen. Das derzeitige Verpackungsgesetz reicht nicht aus, um gegen die Flut von insbesondere Einwegplastik anzukommen, die Jugendlichen fordern mit einer Unterschriftenliste Nachbesserungen. Diese Aktion der JAGs ist Teil der "Make Something Week" (Make Smthng), die international von Greenpeace-Ehrenamtlichen veranstaltet wird, um in der Vorweihnachtszeit und rund um den "Black Friday" auf Konsumalternativen aufmerksam zu machen.
