Bobcat in Canadian Boreal Forest
Bobcat (Lynx rufus).
These elusive predators are active at twilight, and are skilled hunters in both the day and night. They often hunt small mammals and birds, but are known to hunt animals much bigger than themselves. Bobcats can not only be found in parts of the boreal forest but also across North America in habitats such as swamps, deserts, suburbs, and forests.
