Chernobyl Anniversary Action in Rome
Greenpeace activists plant two thousand crosses at the ancient "Circus Maximus" stadium in Rome, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The activists also display a huge banner reading in Italian "26th April 1986 Chernobyl, how many more disasters?". Greenpeace ask the Italian government to stop investing in nuclear energy and support renewable energy.

Attivisti di Greenpeace hanno trasformato il Circo Massimo in un memoriale a cielo aperto piantando duemila croci per ricordare le vittime della tragedia nucleare di Cernobyl nel giorno del 25° anniversario dell'esplosione del reattore. Un enorme striscione viene aperto con la scritta ""26 aprile 1986 Chernobyl, ancora quanti disastri?" e "12-13 giugno 2011 Referendum, vota si per fermare il nucleare".
