The petition consists in four central demands that will be brought into the parliament via a proposal. Children are holding panels with their demands written on them.In original language:Cool Planet Event WienDie Umweltorganisation Greenpeace lud heute am Nachmittag vor das Parlament, um dort gemeinsam mit zahlreichen Kindern und Jugendlichen eine Petition an die Vorsitzende des parlamentarischen Umweltausschusses Mag. Christiane Brunner zu übergeben. Die Petition enthält vier zentrale Forderungen, die in weiterer Folge auch als Entschließungsantrag ins Parlament eingebracht werden. Dieser Entschließungsantrag soll die österreichische Position bei der im Dezember stattfindenden Klimakonferenz in Kopenhagen festlegen. Um das Klima zu schützen, muss die Politik jetzt handeln. Am Ende des Jahres wird in Kopenhagen ein Klimaschutzabkommen beschlossen. Dieses Abkommen wird von PolitikerInnen aller Staaten ausgehandelt.
