Using safety equipment, crew members trained in ice safety prepare to place the last bits of copper strip right at the edge of the sea ice, before the 'Melting Vitruvian Man' is completed and photographed from the air. Greenpeace commissioned the work to highlight the need for world leaders to recognise that the melting of the Arctic as an urgent wake up call for action on climate change.
