Daira, a Mumbai based Independent alternative rock band, performs for Greenpeace India staff and the crew of the Rainbow Warrior. It's the first time the band ever performed aboard a ship and the musicians were thrilled to be part of Greenpeace.

The Rainbow Warrior in Mumbai

The Rainbow Warrior is in Mumbai from October 26, 2017 for three days, as part of her visit to India to highlight the need for the country to lead the global fight against climate change and global warming, as pledged and committed to in the recently ratified Paris Agreement.
From Mumbai she will sail south to Kochi, Kerala.
The Rainbow Warrior’s voyage to India is also to highlight solutions emanating in the country towards creating a sustainable future, such as exploring and harnessing renewable sources of energy, curbing air pollution and promoting ecological farming. The ship hosts solar workshop and composting workshops to advocate on the importance of individuals taking action.
