Today the Minister welcomes 23 children between the age of 7 and 10 and Greenpeace director Liesbeth van Tongeren at her department. In total 350 children have made an enormous banner full of colourful papers showing the healthy and beautiful underwater life in a sea reserve. The children want a future environment with fishes, dolphins and whales. Together with Greenpeace they ask Minister Verburg to take serious action after thirteen years of dawdling and to protect the nature reserves in the North Sea.
