Demonstration for a Healthy Landscape in Czech Republic

Hundreds of people gathered in the centre of Prague on 26th July 2020 to protest against the lack of governmental policies to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change. The protest started near the Parliament and then continued to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and to Ministry of Agriculture. Czechia experienced a long-term period of droughts in the last five years and the landscape, agriculture and forestry were hit hard by the impacts of climate change. The landscape is not able to retain water and resist the rising temperature. Almost 30 organisations and initiatives organised a protest for the healthy landscape to ask the government to act.
