Diesel Protest on German Ministry of Transport in Berlin

Greenpeace activists and protesters from various organisations protest on the building of the Ministry of Transport and in front of the Ministry of the Interior for better health protection against dirty diesel emissions which contain toxic nitrogen oxide (NOx). The environmental activists deploy a banner that reads: "Welcome in Fort NOx". German transport minister Alexander Dobrindt meets with representatives of the automotive industry. Greenpeace activists ask Alexander Dobrindt to dismantle diesel fuel subsidies and to act for withdrawal from combustion engines by 2025. Dobrindt is blocking the nationwide introduction of a blue NOx badge, which would allow cities to protect their citizens.
