The aim of the action is to denounce that the mismanagement and waste of water is the cause of the drought in the region. The activists demand urgent measures that foresee and mitigate the effects of the drought. The banner, reading "Sequía = mala gestión" (Bad management = Drought), is the largest that Greenpeace has ever deployed in Spain. The activists needed a mile and a half of ropes and 50 anchors to hold more than 120 kilos of weight.Related Collections:Drought in Spain (Photos & Videos of Action & Background Documentation)
