They ask the government to vote against the usage of glyphosate, an important component in the herbicide Roundup made by Monsanto. According to the World Health Organization glyphosate can cause cancer. In a week the Second Chamber in the Netherlands will vote about this subject. Volgens de WHO is het middel 'waarschijnlijk kankerverwekkend voor mensen'.Locations:The HagueDate:17 May, 2016Credit:© Greenpeace / Marten van DijlMaximum size:4687px X 3009pxKeywords:Day-Direct communications-Dutch Government-Glyphosate-Government buildings-Health-Herbicides-KWCI (GPI)-Medium group of people-Men-Outdoors-Petitions-SAGE (campaign title)-Signs-Urban areas-World Health Organization (WHO)Shoot:Dutch NGO's Deliver Petition at Dutch Parliament222.000 people in the Netherlands and Europe have signed the petition which is delivered to the Parliament this afternoon by The Sum of Us and Greenpeace. They ask the political parties to forbid the usage of glyphosate one of the components in the herbicide Roundup made by Monsanto.
