The Enawene Nawe people live in camps in the forest during the fishing season. The caught fish is smoked and brought back to the villages. The Enawene Nawe people also plant maniok (cassava) and corn. They don't eat meat, which is uncommon for Amazon indigenous groups. Locations:Amazon-Brazil-Mato GrossoDate:15 May, 2006Credit:© Markus Mauthe / GreenpeaceMaximum size:3872px X 2592pxRestrictions:Images of indigenous people in Brazil must not be used for fundraising purposes or given to third parties.
