Greenpeace accompanies farmers protesting against stricter liquid manure laws in Munster. Approximately 6,000 farmers demonstrate with the motto "Farmers need a future - the future needs farmers!" at the church square.
Greenpeace campaigners and members of the Muenster group are present with an information stand in the form of a glass container to offer open discussions with the farmers.
The activists demand from the government increased investments in a sustainable and future-oriented agriculture as well as the targeted financial support for farmers, who actively contribute to the protection of climate, groundwater, livestock and insects.
Sign reads: "What has to be, has to be! Protect water, animals and the climate - Support those Farmers that do." 

Greenpeace begleitet einen Bauern-Protest gegen strengere Duenger-Gesetze in Muenster. Die rund 6000 Bauern halten eine Kundgebung unter dem Motto "Bauern brauchen Zukunft - Zukunft braucht Bauern!" auf dem Domplatz. Greenpeace Experten und Gruppenmitglieder sind mit einem gläsernen Infostand anwesend, um mit den Bauern ins Gespraech zu kommen.
Die Aktivisten fordern Investitionen in eine nachhaltige und zukunftstfaehige Landwirtschaft von der Politik sowie die gezielte Foerderung von Betrieben, die zum Schutz von Klima, Grundwasser, Nutztieren und Insekten aktiv beitragen.
Auf dem Banner steht: "Wat mutt, dat mutt! Wasser, Tiere, Klima schuetzen - Bauern dabei unterstuetzen."
