Forest Fires in Central Kalimantan

This year nearly 2,000 wildfires have been burning across Indonesia.
This is the worst year since 2015. Officials estimate that the fires have burned more than 800,000 acres.
The smoke and flames threaten endangered species like the orangutan that only can be found in Kalimantan and Sumatra.
Greenpeace criticized the government for not taking action against the companies that set fires to clear land for plantations.
