Gazprom Banner at Football Stadium in Switzerland
Greenpeace activists unfurl a 28m wide banner reading 'Gazprom Don’t Foul The Arctic' at Basel's St. Jakob Park stadium, shortly after kick-off in the Champions League game between FC Basel and Gazprom sponsored, FC Schalke 04.
Greenpeace demands that Gazprom, which is a Russian state-owned company and Champions League sponsor, to cease their high-risk oil exploration in the Arctic.
The protesters are also repeating demands for the release of the 28 Greenpeace International activists, as well as a freelance photographer and a freelance videographer currently in custody pending investigations into a peaceful Arctic oil protest.

Greenpeace zeigt Fussball-Sponsor Gazprom in Basel die Rote Karte
Basel, 1. Oktober 2013.
