Japanese Whaling Fleet continues its hunt in the New Year - Southern Ocean Tour 2005 - Sutton-Hibbert
Inflatables from the Greenpeace ship MY Esperanza and MY Arctic Sunrise try to hinder the transfer of minke whales by a catcher ship of the Japanese whaling fleet to the Nisshin Maru factory ship. Banners fly behind the inflatable and read " Gorton's" and "Nissui," two companies who carry out the Japanese government’s whaling. Greenpeace is using every available means to bring the whaling hunt to an early end and make it the last time the Sanctuary is breached by the whalers.
