Antarctic Sanctuary Advocate Javier Bardem in Berlin
Greenpeace holds a press conference in Berlin to report initial findings from an Antarctic expedition. Scientists Susanne Lockhart and Greenpeace campaigner Sandra Schoettner, accompanied by actor Javier Bardem, present some of the discoveries made during the first leg of the expedition. The Greenpeace expedition to gather evidence in support of a proposal to set up an ocean sanctuary covering 1.8 million square kilometers in the Antarctic Ocean has already witnessed sensitive marine ecosystems from research submarines. Javier Bardem was on board the Arctic Sunrise for a part of the expedition.
