The Kulluk, which grounded on Sitkalidak Island near Kodiak on New Year's Eve, was refloated late January 6 and taken to Kiliuda Bay for repairs and a survey. The Kulluk is being kept in place by the anchor handing ship Aiviq and the tugboats Alert, Corbin Foss, Lauren Foss and Ocean Wave.
