They are part of a group of volunteers of the Mountain Forest Project working in Entlebuch. This forest was destroyed by the storm 'Lothar’ and bark beetles. The volunteers support the regenerating plants with gentle interventions, so that the forest can fulfill its protective function again. In original language:Chrampfe für den SchutzwaldMarbach, 8. The project was a spin-off for Greenpeace who financed it for a long time. Today it is independent, renowned, internationally engaged and it builds a bridge between the environmental protection and the mountain population.
