Nuclear Action Ponte Vecchio in Florence
Greenpeace activists hang a banner from the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence.
Greenpeace activists open three large banners from three world-famous Italian monuments: San Marco’s tower in Venice, Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence and the Colosseum in Rome. Written on the banners is a clear message: "ITALY, STOP NUCLEAR, VOTE YES" addressed to the Italian voters that will be called to the ballots on 12th and 13th June to express their will on returning or not to nuclear power in Italy.
