Three months after the initial transplant, the rice is almost ready to harvest. The rice field, which measures 10 rai or 16,000 square meters, is located in Thailand's Central Plains, one of Southeast Asia's most fertile rice producing regions. The field is planted with two varieties of organic rice by local community together with Greenpeace supporters, volunteers and activists.
