Plastic Waste Brand Audit in Cavite

Two Barangays in GMA Cavite, South of Manila participate during brand audits by collecting the plastic wastes produced in their community. The annual brand audit aims to gather data on corporate plastic pollution found in communities across the world and calls on corporations to take responsibility for the plastic pollution problem caused by single-use plastic. The movement is calling for a Just Recovery to the pandemic, which includes corporate commitments to phase out single-use plastic and shift to reusables.
