"I am the only mother who makes her kids bring a lunch box every day to their school. As a mother, I want to protect my children." she says. Because school-provided lunch contains vegetables harvested in Fukushima, she makes her children bring lunch box to avoid internal radiation exposure. After her original house was designated as a specific spot recommended for evacuation, her family evacuated to their current house in the same city. Her current house is located in Date city, 19km north east of Fukushima city central.Locations:Asia-Fukushima Prefecture-JapanDate:17 Jan, 2014Credit:© Noriko Hayashi / GreenpeaceMaximum size:3599px X 2395pxRestrictions:FOR GREENPEACE USE ONLY.
