The Bhopal survivors have announced that they will visit the Dow's European headquarters in Horgen tomorrow. They want to speak with Dow employees and Dow Europe President, Luciano Respini. The delegation will present their demands: the total clean up of the contaminated site in Bhopal, medical and financial compensation for the survivors of the disaster, guaranteed long-term medical care and clean drinking water for all affected people. Dow-Carbide bought Union Carbide in 2001 and has refused to bear any corporate liability for the gas disaster.
