Protest for High Seas Protection at Ozeaneum in Stralsund, Germany
Greenpeace activists welcome German Chancellor Angela Merkel on her visit to the Ozeaneum in Stralsund and remind her of her commitment to work for strong protection of the oceans. A letter in large format, presented a message in a bottle, almost two metres high as well as banners with the inscription "Protect the Seas" formulate their demand. The bottle contains the message "30x30", which stands for Greenpeace's central demand for the protection of the high seas.

Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten von Greenpeace begrüßen am Nachmittag Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel bei ihrem Besuch des Ozeaneums in Stralsund und erinnern sie an ihre Verpflichtung, sich für einen starken Schutz der Meere zu engagieren. Ein Brief im Großformat, präsentiert in einer fast zwei Meter großen Flaschenpost sowie Banner mit der Aufschrift “Schützt die Meere“ formulieren diese Forderung. In der Flasche ist die Botschaft „30x30“ zu sehen, die für die zentrale Forderung von Greenpeace für den Schutz der Hohen See steht.
