Greenpeace hosted the event to thank some of its most committed activists for their work, as well as to discuss issues like sustainable seafood with the journalists and food writers who attended. The pop-up restaurant featured Chef Daniel Patterson from COI in San Francisco who is committed to sourcing ingredients from well managed, sustainable sources. The menu featured Abalone - one of the most sustainable types of seafood available, as well as local oysters.
