SOLO crewmembers practising wearing radiation suits. SOLO was in the Kara Sea to document nuclear submarine reactor dumps off the Russian nuclear test site Novaya Zemlya. The ship was later boarded by armed Russian coastguards whilst in international waters and towed back to the military base of Tyuba Guba near Murmansk.
