Solar Installation in Mantatao Island, Bohol Province
Greenpeace together with the community from Mantatao island, hold a banner that reads "Hold the big polluters accountable" during the turn-over ceremony of the solar panel installations in Mantatao Island, Bohol province.
A 1019 total population, 260 households, have been affected when super typhoon Odette made its landfall last December 2021.
Greenpeace Philippines in partnership with CORA Philippines, Youth Lead Philippines and Youth for Climate Hope hand over a 4.8KW solar panel set-up with a load capacity of 12,000 watts or 500 island household. The solar panels will be installed in Brgy Hall and Health Center in Mantatao Island.
