Indigenous leaderships held a funeral procession in Brasília to bury all the violence they have been put through, amplified by the Congress and the Bolsonaro Government. Words like genocide, ecocide, mining, land grabbing, time frame argument and the death bills labelled the 10-meter long coffin carried by the procession, which stopped in front of the National Congress, the Ministry of Justice and Palácio do Planalto, the official workplace of the president of Brazil. The manifestation sheds light on the government's negligence in facing the pandemic and failing to demarcate Indigenous Lands, which leads to the ongoing slaughter of Indigenous leaderships. Indigenous blood keeps being spilled - and the government's hands are filled with it.
Over 5 thousand Indigenous leaderships from all over Brazil gather in Brasília from August 22nd to the 27th in the Struggle for Life camp, for a week of activities, mobilizations, actions and meetings. The Indigenous People struggle for their constitutional rights, for their lands to be free and healthy, for the demarcation and exclusive usage of their lands, for their culture and for the future. They struggle for life.

Os indígenas lutam pelos seus direitos constitucionais e originários, por seus territórios livres, íntegros e saudáveis, pela demarcação e usufruto exclusivo de suas terras, pela sua cultura e pelo futuro. Lutam, enfim, pela vida.
