Mit Fackeln und mit Transparenten, auf denen Gerechtigkeit für Bhopal gefordert wurde, erwarteten sie die Angestellten von Dow vor dem Firmeneingang. Die Aktion fand in Rahmen von weltweiten Aktionen in mehreren Greenpeace-Ländern, darunter Indien und USA statt. Greenpeace wird nicht lockerlassen, bis Dow - die Rechtsnachfolgerin von Union Carbide - ihre Verantwortung endlich wahrnimmt.Heute früh sind die rund 550 Angestellten von Dow an ihrem Horgener Europa-Hauptsitz mit einer Mahnwache und Fackeln empfangen worden. „Wir fordern Gerechtigkeit in Bhopal – DOW! Clean up Bhopal NOW!“ forderten die bereits im Morgengrauen angereisten rund hundert KundgebungsteilnehmerInnen. Die Kundgebung wurde mit der Kunstperformance „Red Responsibility“ des Schweizer Künstlerduos Thomas Haucke und Sabina Kaeser („DAS ARCHIV“) abgerundet. The performance art addressed the involvement of the manager of Dow with Bhopal.
