The project was focused on the topic of urban greenery and carried out during the period of important local elections in Zagreb. Three aspects of urban greenery were specifically addressed: climate adaptation potential, importance for urban biodiversity and importance for mental wellbeing of citizens, especially in the context of COVID-crisis. The project team engaged in three main strands of work: political, which included creating pressure at the peak of the election campaign; communications and engagement, focusing mainly on existing and potential new supporters and the media; and supporting local groups and movements.
