Vigil for Japan Victims in Philippines
A month after the earthquake, tsunami and the nuclear disasters hit Japan, Greenpeace volunteers host a candlelight vigil and hoist a thousand paper cranes as an expression of solidarity with the Japanese victims. The event is held at the Bantayog ng mga Bayani in Quezon City and attended by more than a hundred activists calling for an end to nuclear power around the world.
