World Clean Up Day in Germany
On the occasion of the World Clean Up Day, Greenpeace volunteers collect packaging waste in parks and city centres - here Stuttgart - on beaches and rivers. The findings are then evaluated according to a globally standardised "Brand Audit" and assigned to the companies responsible. Anlässlich des World Clean Up Days sammeln Greenpeace Ehrenamtliche in Parkanlagen und Innenstädten – hier Stuttgart –, an Stränden und Flüssen Verpackungsmüll. Anschließend werden die die Funde nach einem weltweit standardisierten “Brand Audit” ausgewertet und den verursachenden Firmen zugeordnet. Gleichzeitig informieren die Aktivist:innen an diesem internationalen Gruppenaktionstag (GAT) an Infoständen über den Zusammenhang von Plastikmüll und Ölförderung.
